People are generating an increasing amount of  data and we need an increasing number of data centres to handle this increase by storing and processing the data. People also need food, some of which is produced in greenhouses. The main problem with both data centres and greenhouses is energy management. High energy costs influence negatively the profit in both businesses. There is a need to reduce energy expenses, lowering operating costs. Combining the heating and cooling systems of these businesses dramatically reduce the operating costs of a combo data centre-greenhouse business. Data Centres are already exempted by generous energy tax reductions in Sweden, which makes them already attractive business, however combining them by green houses will make them even more financially viable.
